As the BAS Product Owner/ Business Analyst, you will develop the vision and roadmap for the team. You see it as an asset to also take on the business analysis.  You draw up efficient workflows to drive systems. You always think long term, you guard a clear vision that you enthusiastically share with everyone in the team.

• You see challenges everywhere and think in terms of solutions. Your strong analytical skills come in handy; 

• You are responsible for the delivery of automated processes within the various business domains; 

• You are responsible for mentoring our low-code developers and guiding them through their professional devlopment; 

• You develop a clear product vision and carry it out from your role. Together with the team you spar about new ideas and initiatives; 

• You can work independently but also attach great importance to a good team spirit. You realize that the department fulfills an important central function in a large international group. Within your domain, you develop as an expert and ambassador; 

• You are always willing to help your colleagues, even outside your specialties. They can count on you to help test new products, analyze …

You will join the BAS team, a new team that interacts with the whole Mediahuis group. Our technologies are deployed across all the entities (Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland, ...).

What's on your CV,

You find joy in processes that operate seamlessly, with optimal efficiency, automation and minimal wastage. Your interest in low-code platforms and your willingness to learn more about it, allows you to enhance our developers' work and assess the quality of their code. You have an agile mindset and love this way of working since you’ll coordinate our developers in an agile way. You have a proficient knowledge of Jira and Confluence. 

Ideally, you have practical experience with low-code platforms such as RPA (UiPath). 

You have an affinity for media and the interplay between editorial operation, technology and IT.
