Your role includes.
- You act as a pioneer in our new ‘ADE’ project (Agentic Development Environment). You collaborate closely with developers, sparring partners and stakeholders, ensuring AI becomes a structural part of the development process.
- You experiment with Claude Code and similar tools, exploring how they can best be applied
- You organize bi-weekly lunch & share sessions to share AI knowledge
- You motivate and encourage others to adopt AI tools by providing training sessions, demos and community sessions
- You keep stakeholders informed about new trends and possibilities
- You act as a sparring partner for developers on AI applications and inspire them to integrate AI into their workflows
- You document knowledge in Confluence, building and maintaining a knowledge base
You will ideally work 2 days per week from our Antwerp office at Linkeroever, but we are flexible in finding a hybrid way of working based upon your situation. Most importantly, you take a connecting approach, reach out to colleagues and help build a strong community.
What makes you a great fit?
What’s on your CV is important, but it’s by no means the only thing we attach importance to. What we value even more is your curious mindset and strong communication skills, allowing you to engage in meaningful conversations about new technologies. You enjoy sharing knowledge and guiding others through change and innovation. Therefore you are fluent in English, speaking Dutch is rather a plus.
Your experience as a full-stack developer provides you with a solid foundation and strong technical understanding of software development and developer workflows. Expertise in AI is not (yet) a must, a strong affinity and interest in working with Claude Code or similar tools is already a great starting point. We don’t have strict requirements regarding tech stack. What matters most is that you are fully proficient in at least one of the commonly used programming languages within our organization, which are (not exclusively) .NET, Python, and JavaScript.
What’s about to become your second home?
You’ll join TPS, the international technology organization of Mediahuis. Within our Data & Insights domain, several AI initiatives have been launched that span across our group-wide organization. You will be part of a team with two driven developers and a technical lead. In addition, you will regularly collaborate and exchange ideas with our AI program manager, developers and other domain experts across the Mediahuis Group.
