You help shape the platform that powers digital AI products across Mediahuis. By building scalable cloud services, automating infrastructure and enabling development teams, you make software delivery faster, more reliable and more secure. Together with engineers, architects and security specialists, you contribute to a modern platform that supports innovation across our international technology organisation.

Your role includes.

• You design, build and continuously improve cloud platform services on Microsoft Azure.

• You develop and maintain Kubernetes (AKS) environments that support multiple engineering teams.

• You build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and contribute to GitOps-driven platform management.

• You optimize CI/CD pipelines and help development teams adopt cloud-native ways of working.

• You improve platform security, governance, networking, storage and observability to ensure a reliable developer experience.

• You collaborate closely with architects, security experts and engineering teams to continuously evolve the platform.

• You contribute to the further development of Mediahuis' modern cloud and data platform using technologies such as GitLab, PostgreSQL, NATS and N8N.

Your colleagues gather in our Antwerp office 2 days a week (Linkeroever). Depending on your situation we’d be flexible to welcome you at least once a week in Antwerp in order to facilitate the best teamwork.

What makes you a great fit?

What's on your CV is important, but it is by no means the only thing we attach importance to. More importantly, you're a pragmatic engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while keeping the developer experience front of mind. You communicate easily with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, take ownership of your work and enjoy collaborating to build scalable platform solutions. You have an excellent command of English, as you'll be working in an international environment. A good knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus.

What do you need to make a headstart? You bring solid experience with Azure and Kubernetes in enterprise environments and have a strong background in Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Terraform. You feel comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines, cloud security, networking and API-driven environments. Experience with AWS EKS, PostgreSQL, self-hosted NATS, N8N or hybrid cloud environments is considered an advantage.
