Here’s a Summary of What the Job Entails:  

In the role of Lead Developer, you will have a leading position overseeing the in-house tracker GLiTR. This tool is responsible for preparing data that is used by various departments, including editorial, subscription and advertising department.

• You develop a clear product vision and carry it out from your role. You think out of the box and can come up with new ideas or innovations; 

• You see challenges everywhere and think in terms of solutions. Your strong analytical skills are very useful; 

• You always look through the eyes of the user. How does your work create a pleasant user experience?  

• You are always willing to help your colleagues, also outside your specialties. They can count on you to help test new products, analyze ...  

• You can work independently but also attach great importance to a good team spirit. As a Technical Lead you will have a crucial role within the Mediahuis Group.

What’s About to Become Your Second Home? 

You will be working at TPS, Mediahuis' International IT & data department. Together with your colleagues, you will work on the underlying structure that makes it possible to measure the performance of articles, advertisements and marketing campaigns. Thanks to you, we know, for example, how to give our subscription sales a quality boost. 

What’s on Your CV, 

 is important but is by no means the only thing we attach importance to. Your proactive approach, problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively, are even more crucial.  You have an agile mindset and love this way of working.  You also know how important it is to communicate well so that everyone is always on board.

However, we do expect you to have the right experience however, so that you can feel perfectly at home in your new job:   

• You possess expertise in build management, preferably Team City and/or Azure DevOps; 

• You have proficiency in deployment tools (Azure Devops Pipelines, Octopus); 

• You are open to participating in pull request reviews; 

• You are familiar with the principles of test-driven development; 

• Experience with the following technologies is a plus: REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL.
