Our tools and platforms support every Mediahuis team — from editorial to marketing and everything in between. And we do it together: with short lines of communication and plenty of interaction. How does TPS work?

Within TPS we work in different teams, each with its own focus:

  • Publishing takes care of all technical aspects of our news sites, apps, and digital newspapers.
  • Monetization manages the technical side of subscriptions and advertising.
  • Data & Insights uses data and AI in smart ways to strengthen our news brands.
  • Shared Services focuses on automation and behind-the-scenes support.
  • Cross Domain puts the focus on innovation, architecture, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Infra keeps everything running — from servers to the Service Desk.

Working at TPS? How it's organized

Within TPS, we work in teams built around specific technologies or services. Each team is led by a Solution Owner or Service Line Owner. Our Business Partners form the link with the different Mediahuis departments. They listen, sense what’s going on in the teams, and translate that into concrete tech challenges that our colleagues can immediately start working on.

In every domain, you’ll also find coaches, scrum masters, business analysts, QA specialists, domain architects and a Delivery Manager. They keep the overview, maintain the pace, and make sure ideas don’t just stay plans — they become real solutions. Not isolated islands, but teams that challenge and strengthen each other to move forward together.

Publishing

Publishing focuses on what really matters: bringing news to people. From writing powerful stories to delivering them at the right moment, through the right channel, to the right reader.

In this domain, you work on solutions for content creation, email and push notifications, video, podcasts, authentication, and personalization — everything needed to make news relevant, accessible, and personal.

Monetization

Within Monetization, everything revolves around growth. More readers, more subscribers, more impact.

You’ll build systems for advertising and subscriptions and design ways to turn occasional visitors into loyal users. That way, you help ensure our journalism continues to thrive — and be read.

Data & Insights

Data & Insights observes, listens and learns. The large amounts of data we collect are turned into clear insights — for newsrooms, teams, and the entire company.

Analyses, dashboards, and smart applications make Mediahuis a little smarter every day. Everything related to AI and emerging technologies comes together here — curiosity is our driving force.

Infra

From servers to cloud solutions: this domain supports everything TPS builds. It ensures a stable and high-performing infrastructure so that our developer teams can work efficiently and users enjoy the best possible experience.

The Service Desk — present in all Mediahuis offices — is also part of Infra.

Shared Services

Shared Services manages what runs quietly in the background. From financial solutions like time registration to integration services that keep everything working seamlessly together.

Automation processes that make daily work easier are also built and managed here. Everything quietly indispensable finds its home in Shared Services.

Cross Domain

In this domain, architecture and innovation come together.
Teams work on strategies and roadmaps that define where Mediahuis is heading technologically — today, tomorrow and beyond.
