 Your role includes. 

• Taking necessary measures with your team to further increase the quality of our product delivery while championing a "quality-first" approach.
• Monitoring and testing the quality of applications and underlying processes in a structured, methodical manner using test scenarios you may design yourself.
• Playing a supporting role in the release management process of developed software.
• Focusing on process improvements alongside software quality, with a deep belief in the added value of technologies that impact our readers directly.
• Collaborating with and assisting colleagues—even outside your specialist areas—because teamwork is key.

• Skills and experience:
  • Practical experience in manual testing with a keen interest in frontend/backend test automation.
  • Comfort experimenting with tools to optimize automated testing, while still enjoying manual testing.
  • Sufficient technical knowledge to enhance technical and functional tests.
  • Experience in manual web testing (preferably in an agile environment) and knowledge of scripting/programming languages, particularly JavaScript.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.

 

 What’s about to become your second home? 

You’ll be part of Mediahuis' International IT & Data Department within the Data & Insights Domain. This team builds and maintains the infrastructure that measures the performance of articles, advertisements, and marketing campaigns. You'll contribute to applications used across the group and collaborate with editorial teams to help optimize their content and offerings through data.
